IDEX Paris Saclay scholarship for Pakistani students
IDEX is a French fully funded scholarship. It is an outstanding scholarship for international students who want to study free of cost. Paris Saclay University is one of the top universities in France, which offers the IDEX scholarship. The IDEX Paris Saclay scholarship aims to identify talented students who want to continue their research and projects at the doctoral level. The purpose of the IDEX Paris Saclay scholarship is to alleviate the financial burden on students so they can focus on their studies.
IDEX Paris Saclay scholarship is
a fully funded scholarship in which students receive 10,000€ per year. The
university will pay this amount for the duration of the academic year from
September to June. An amount of 900€ is also given to students for travel and
visa expenses, but this amount depends on the region of the country from which
you are applying.
These scholarships are awarded
for one or two years to students who are enrolled in the Paris Saclay
University according to the degree duration. Students have to get admission
first to Paris Saclay University. Admission to the university does not mean
that you will automatically get the scholarship. Students will be selected by
the admission panel.
Students who will get the invitation email from Paris Saclay University will only be able to apply for the Paris Saclay University IDEX scholarship. Direct application to the Paris Saclay University IDEX scholarship will not be accepted. This scholarship is only awarded to those students who are admitted to the Paris Saclay University master’s program delivered by one of the following institutions: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, IOGS, Université Évry Paris-Saclay, Université Paris-Saclay, UVSQ.

Eligibility criteria
- Must be a master's student
- Students who were delivered by Université
Évry Paris-Saclay, Université Paris-Saclay, UVSQ, AgroParisTech,
CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, INSTN-CEA, and IOGS will be eligible.
- Those international students who
are studying in France for the first time.
- Students must be under 30 during
the year of application
- Students who are enrolled in a
non-degree course, are currently or previously enrolled, and are also living in
France for less than a year.
- Students enrolled in language
courses and living in France for less than a year.
- Those students will be eligible
who have lived in France but don't have a degree from the French Higher
education system.
- For example, those students were enrolled in mobility programs during their studies, such as Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degrees, exchange programs
Benefits
Yearly Stipend
Students will get the yearly
stipend of 10,000 € under the Paris Saclay Scholarship. With this amount of
scholarship, students will be able to manage their living expenses, food, and
other needs.
Travel Allowance
An extra travel allowance of 900 € will be given to students, which will cover their travel expenses and also include their visa costs. This travel allowance amount varies according to the origin of the candidate country. Students will get the scholarship amount after arriving in France.

Application Process
- First, students have to secure
admission to Paris Saclay University for the master's program.
- Students cannot apply directly
for the IDEX scholarship
- After getting admission to Paris
Saclay University, students will apply for the IDEX scholarship.
- The Admission Panel will select
and refer the student for this scholarship
- After being selected, students
will get an email for their consent. Students have to accept the offer within 7
days. If the student does not reply to the email, this will be considered a
rejection of the scholarship by the candidate.
- After acceptance, students will
be contacted by email, and an online form will be sent to them.
- Students have to provide two
referees. Then a reference form will be sent to the referees.
- Referees have to fill in the form
before the end date.
- Without a reference form, the
student application is considered incomplete and will not be entertained.
- Students have to keep an eye on
the confirmation of submission of their reference letters because they will not
be informed about the incomplete application.
- The application is considered
complete when both reference letters are submitted.
- Incomplete applications and those submitted after the deadline will automatically be rejected.

Q1: I have interrupted my studies for over 3 years. Am I eligible to get the IDEX Paris Saclay scholarship?
Answer: No, you cannot
secure this scholarship even if you have relevant professional experience for
the master's program for which you are applying.

Answer: Yes, you are
