The Malaysian International
Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship, offered by the Malaysian Government
to attract International Students. This Scholarship is divided into two
categories: Master's and PhD studies at public universities. The MIS program
supports the Malaysian Government's efforts to attract, motivate, and recruit
intellectually oriented students from around the globe.
The MIS program offers a fusion
of business and technology courses that cover areas such as database
management, programming, system analysis and design, and cybersecurity.
Applicants can also enroll in core business courses such as macroeconomics
and management, along with technical subjects like object-oriented programming
and system theory.
The MIS program is a fully funded
Scholarship, so it offers a monthly living allowance of 1500 RM which
covers all noteworthy costs, such as free tuition, air-tickets from
recipient’s capital city to Malaysia, Monthly maintenance allowance, annual
grant for books and international journey, medical / health insurance, housing,
thesis allowance, installation and termination grant and a monthly stipend.
An IELTS or TOEFL score with a
minimum band of 6.0 is required for this program. Applicants from certain
eligible countries are also eligible to apply. Applicants must be under 45
years of age at the time of application. Under the MIS program, a Master's
program is offered for 24 months, and the PhD program's duration is 36
months. The application deadline for the MIS program is expected to be
June 30, 2026.

students with excellent academic records from eligible countries are eligible
to apply for postgraduate studies (Master's or PhD) at Malaysian universities.
