Chulalongkorn University's
Graduate School, in partnership with the Office of Academic Affairs,
Thailand, offers the fully financed Chulalongkorn University Graduate
Scholarship for ASEAN and Non-ASEAN International Students. It is intended
to assist exceptional international students pursuing full-time Master's or
Doctoral degrees in a variety of fields taught by the university's faculty.
Chulalongkorn University scholarship covers full tuition fees
at the Thai student rate, a monthly stipend of 16,000 THB
(inclusive of an accommodation allowance), and a round-trip economy
airfare. The airfare allowance varies by region, ranging from
approximately 8,500 THB for ASEAN countries to 12,000 THB for other parts of
Asia, 20,000 THB for Europe or Australia, and 30,000 THB for the Americas.
The normal duration of scholarships is two years for Master's programs
and three years for Doctoral studies.
Eligible applicants must be
foreign nationals holding a relevant Bachelor's degree for Master's applicants
or a Master's degree for PhD applicants, with good academic standing. While age
limits may apply in specific categories, generally below 40 years old,
the primary admission requirement is English proficiency, as most programs are
offered in English. Applicants will be required to present a recognized test
score, such as IELTS with a minimum band of 6.0, or a TOEFL
score of at least 550 (paper-based) or its equivalent.
In all, the Chulalongkorn University Graduate Scholarship offers an excellent opportunity for talented international students to pursue their studies in Thailand, combining academic excellence with a cultural experience and full financial support for the duration of their studies.

Ignoring Scholarship
Guidelines:
Failure to adhere to instructions
or missing a requirement is immediate grounds for rejection. Always read and
follow the application guidelines and deadlines strictly.
Weak or Generic Statements:
Submitting personal statements
and essays that are general and vague reduces impact. Tailor your responses to
reflect your unique strengths and alignment with the goals of the scholarship.
Poor Preparation for
Interviews:
Entering an interview without
prior practice or knowledge of the program demonstrates a lack of commitment. Prepare
answers to common questions and thoroughly research the university and its
faculty.
Overemphasizing Academics Only:
Focusing solely on grades while
excluding leadership, extracurricular activities, or community work will be
limiting. Showcase a balanced profile of skills, experiences, and social
contributions.
Submitting incomplete
documentation:
Missing transcripts, letters of
recommendation, or test scores can disqualify you. Countercheck all the
necessary documents before submitting them.
Lack of Attention to English

Submitting below-required IELTS/TOEFL scores or omitting proof of language ability hurts your chances. Ensure you meet or exceed the minimum language requirements.
