Introduction

Yantai University(YTU) is one of the public universities located in  Yantai, Shandong, China. It was established in 1984 and is known as among the key provincial comprehensive universities of Shandong Province. Also, the University has an area of a 1.4million square meters, including a total building floor area of about 935,000 square meters and a library of 43,800square meters.

Specialty

Currently, the (YTU) has 21 schools and colleges, 46 research institutions, and 56 undergraduate majors, including the ten curriculums, such as the  Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics, Management, Education, and Art. It contains 28,000 enrolled students, including baccalaureate and associate degree students,  graduate and international students. The candidates who are enrolled at the baccalaureate level are from 31 different provinces and regions. The University has established a collaborative relationship with more than seventy universities and institutions worldwide, including cooperative programs with the Republic of Korea and Norway. Every year, it welcomes six hundred international students. It is known as one of the first groups of universities allowed by the central government to accept foreign educational experts and welcome international students.

The (YTU) offers the Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship to international students.
