Introduction

Chongqing University (CQU )is a public university located in Chongqing, China. It was established in 1929, and Dr. Zhang is working as its president. It contains four campuses, including a total area of 350 hectares. The university is one of the members of the "211" Project and "985" Project and among the "Double-first Class" Project universities. The university has established cooperative relations with around 155 higher education institutions in more than 20 countries and regions. A wide range of programs has been offered in different disciplines.

Specialty

CQU has six faculties: built environment, humanities,   science, social sciences, engineering, and information technology. The university also offers 96 undergraduate programs, 115 master's programs, 42 doctoral programs, and 19 professional degree programs. It is also offering 17 master and doctoral programs fully taught in English, containing four national English-taught courses approved by the Ministry of Education. The university contains 47,000 students, including 25,000 undergraduates’ students, 19,000 graduate students, and more than 1,800 international students. The university includes a total of 5,300 faculty and staff members, among whom more than  2000 are professors and associate professors. The university contains a library with more than a collection of 3.90 million volumes.
