Introduction

The Capital Normal University was founded in 1954 and is situated in Beijing, China. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First-Class Discipline University, with double-class status in particular disciplines. Its archetype was the Tongzhou Normal University that was set up in 1905. With an area of 0.76 million square meters of teaching buildings, the entire University campus covers 0.88 million square meters. The university consists of 28 colleges and departments. The university library, which stores 1291.8 thousand books, represents one of the national key libraries for documentary reference.

Specialty

It has educated more than 200 thousand talents specialized in various disciplines and known as a   talent-Training base of Beijing. The university offers several disciplines, such as Literature, Science, Engineering, Management, Law, Education, Foreign language, and art. It has 17 primary fields that confer doctoral degrees,101 postgraduate programs,16 postdoctoral research centers,26 primary disciplines that confer, and master's degrees, including 141 masters programs and 14 professional degrees. The university has more than 31,086 students, including 10,763 undergraduates, 6411 graduate students, and 1,352 international students. The undergraduates can choose from 41 different majors. There is a total teaching staff of 2,505. There are 1,642 full-time teachers,356 professors,663 associate professors,1050 Ph.D. holders, and 489 master's degree holders. The CNU is also a complete digital campus with a stable comprehensive and useful internet.

It is opened for all degree programs in sponsorship with China Scholarship Council  and University CSC scholarships is a top Chinese grant that is open for undergraduate and postgraduate understudies
