Romanian Government Scholarship for Pakistani Students
The Romanian Government Scholarship is a fully funded program offered by the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and the Ministry of Education. It allows non-EU students to study
in Romania without incurring tuition fees. Leading Romanian universities offer
scholarships for bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral degrees.
The program covers all
significant costs, including tuition, housing, and a monthly stipend. For
bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral degrees, scholars receive roughly 65,
75, and 85 euros, respectively. Before beginning their program, they
also receive health insurance and a year-long education in Romanian.
Numerous subjects, including Engineering,
Architecture, Education, Business, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Oil and Gas,
and Romanian culture, are available to students. Nevertheless, this scholarship
does not cover medicine, dentistry, or pharmacy. IELTS is only required if you
apply for English-taught programs. A one-year Romanian language course is also
offered for Romanian-taught programs.
Bachelor's programs take three
to six years, Master's programs take one and a half to two years,
and doctoral programs take three to five years. Strong academic
credentials and legitimate educational documentation are requirements for
applicants. Students pursuing bachelor's and Master's degrees must be at
least 35 years old, while PhD candidates must be at least 45.
The application must be submitted
online before the deadline of March 15, 2026. Romania is an excellent destination for
international students, offering affordable living expenses, an excellent
educational system, and a vibrant culture. This scholarship offers an
excellent opportunity to pursue a degree in Europe without financial concerns.

Tips to Win
Strong Academic Record:
Continue to achieve consistently
high marks. GPA or grades are frequently taken into account by scholarship
committees.
Complete and Accurate
Documents:
Please provide any necessary
transcripts, translations, and certificates as needed. Disqualification may
result from the submission of missing or inaccurate documentation.
Compelling Motivation Letter:
Write concisely about your
professional aspirations and the reasons you wish to study in Romania.
Demonstrate how the scholarship will enable you to fulfill your goals.
Two Strong Recommendation
Letters:
Select referees who are familiar
with your professional or academic skills. Your potential and strengths should
be emphasized in your letters.

advance of the due date. This ensures you don't miss the deadline and allows
you time to correct any mistakes.

Common Scholarship Interview Questions
- Introduce yourself
- Why did you choose this course or program?
- Why Romania?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
- Please describe any leadership or extracurricular activities
you have participated in.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Incomplete or Incorrect Documents:
Your application may be rejected if you submit transcripts
and certificates that are missing or incorrectly prepared. Verify each document
one more time before uploading.
Late Submission:
Errors and missing deadlines are more likely when you wait
until the last minute. A seamless process is ensured by early submission.
Weak Motivation Letter:
Letters that are generic or ambiguous don't demonstrate your
sincere interest and objectives. Write a personalized, persuasive letter
outlining your reasons for selecting Romania and your course.
Poorly Chosen Recommendation Letters:
Your application is weakened by letters from referees who
are unfamiliar with your skills and abilities. Select references who can attest
to your abilities and accomplishments.
Ignoring Language Requirements:
Your eligibility may be impacted if you have not completed
the Romanian preparatory course or if you are not proficient in English for
some programs. Make a plan and demonstrate your willingness to learn.
Neglecting Extracurricular Activities:
The impact of your application is diminished if you omit volunteer work, leadership positions, or community involvement. Emphasize instances that show initiative and collaboration.
