The KNB scholarship is a
prestigious and competitive award for Pakistani students and other
international students from developing countries. This scholarship is available
to students pursuing a bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree at Indonesian
universities. This scholarship is officially known as Kemitraan Negara
Berkembang Scholarship (KNB). In this program, 34 Indonesian
Universities are participating and offering 992 courses in all the
available fields of these universities.
The KNB scholarship is a fully funded award, offering primary benefits that include a monthly stipend, travel allowance, health insurance, and a research allowance. The Monthly stipend amount is 255000 INR ($150). The eligibility criteria are as simple as a student must be under the age requirements, meet the language requirements, and have completed their last educational degree.
The application timeline typically begins at the start of March every year and concludes at the end of the month. For English proficiency, IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC are accepted. The minimum scores are as follows: IELTS 5.5 for Bachelor's to 6.0, TOEFL IBT 53 to 71, TOEFL ITP 477 to 530, and TOEIC 510 to 600.
