Introduction

The Yunnan University of Finance and Economics is a Key Provincial University located in  Kunming, Yunnan province, China. It was established in 1951, and Shuxin Xiong is working as its president. Also, the university consists of an area of 81.5 hectares. It has a library with a  collection of over 1,870,000 book volumes and high-tech laboratories, multimedia conference centers, electronic reading rooms, and a modern multi-function gymnasium. The facilities of the university are among the best ones in the business-oriented universities in China.

 Specialty

The university accepts students from 31 provinces and has over 32,000 students containing full-time undergraduates, graduates, part-time students, international students, and adult education trainees. The university faculty consists of more than 1,500 faculty members, among whom over 1,055 are full-time lecturers. It has also established 20 schools and two departments and offers 50 Bachelor's programs in the fields of economics, management, laws, philosophy, liberal arts, natural science, engineering, and arts. Moreover, YUFE is entitled to confer first-class Master's degrees in 10 fields such as Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Marxist Theory, Mathematics, Computer Science and Technology, as well as Public Management. The university also has established 69 full-time and part-time research institutions.

Scholarship Details

For talented international students, the university offers different scholarships. These scholarships include the Chinese Government Scholarship and   Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship Program. The eligibility criteria for these scholarships are, all candidates should be non-Chinese passport holders. A candidate applying for a master's degree must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor's degree, while for a doctoral degree, a candidate must be under 40 years old and hold a master's degree. The scholarship coverage includes tuition and accommodation fees, living allowance, and medical insurance fees. The deadline and a living allowance of scholarship vary depending on the degree program and scholarship type. The candidates have to submit an online application with all notarized and scanned documents within the due date. 

Admission Details 

Those students who wish to study at Yunnan University of Finance and Economics have to follow the admission criteria. A candidate must have a high school degree, good health, good command of English, and must be non -Chinese passport holder for undergraduate programs. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts, and certificate. To apply to Postgraduate programs, candidates must have a bachelor's degree, good health, good command of English, and must be non -Chinese passport holders. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of bachelor's degree and certificate of bachelor's degree, two recommendation letters, plan of study. For Doctoral programs, candidates must have a master's degree, good health, good command of English, and must be non -Chinese passport holders. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of masters and certificates of a master's degree, two recommendation letters, and a study plan.
