Introduction

Xi'an Shiyou University is a university located in Xi'an, China. It was established in 1951 and is also known as Xi'an Petroleum University. The university comprises three other campuses, namely  The Yanta campus, the Mingde campus, and the Huyi campus. It contains an area of ​​2,078 mu. Also, it has established collaborative exchange relationships with 86 international universities.

Specialty

Currently, Xi'an Shiyou University contains 14 colleges and two directly affiliated departments. The university has over 16,000 undergraduates students, over 2,700 full-time doctoral and master's students, among them over 1,100 are part-time master's students, more than 1,000 international students in China, and 2,992 continuing education students. It consists of over 1,830 faculty members, over 1,280 full-time teachers, and more than 670 senior titles. The university contains 33 second-level and third-level professors with more than 510 doctoral supervisors and master supervisors; more than 690 teachers with postgraduate degrees. In past years, it has won 2-second prizes of national teaching achievement awards, 30 provincial teaching achievement awards, and ten higher education teaching achievement awards of China Petroleum Education Society. The university contains one first-level discipline for doctoral degree authorization, 15 first-level fields for master's degree authorization, and 13 professional degree authorization categories for master's degrees.
