Introduction

The University of Jinan is a public university situated in  Jinan City, Shandong Province, China. It was established in 1948 and renowned comprehensive university. The university covers more than2.43 a million square meters, including its total building area of 1.02 million square meters. It has 24 schools and two post-doctoral research centers and established international collaboration with 74 foreign countries. It has also developed collaborative relationships with 13 universities in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The university contains a library with a collection of over 4.6 million printed and electronic books, 4,200 kinds of Chinese and foreign periodicals, and 23,000 types of electronic journals.

Specialty

The university has 1981  teaching staff; among them, 305 are professors, 707 are associate professors, and  841 faculties have doctoral degrees. Also, it contains two academicians that are members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 2 members who got selected in National Talents Project, whereas 7 scholars are from the National Education Instruction Committee and 2 professors are in the New Century Talents Project under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. The 4 scholars are in the Taishan Scholar Climbing Plan, and 20 distinguished professors are prestigiously honored Taishan Scholars. The 41  teachers are awarded outstanding experts at the provincial and national levels. It contains 12 Shandong Provincial Renowned Teachers and 6 Shandong Provincial Excellent Teaching Teams.

Scholarship Details

The University of Jinan has a Chinese Government Scholarship and a University of Jinan Scholarship for international students. The eligibility criteria for these Scholarships include, all applicants should be non-Chinese citizens. A candidate applying for a master's degree must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor's degree, while for a doctoral degree, a candidate must be under 40 years old and have a master's degree. The scholarship coverage, deadline, and living allowance of scholarship vary depending on the degree program and scholarship type. All the documents with the application form must be submitted within the due time.

Admission Details

For admission to the University of Jinan, international students have to follow the eligibility criteria. The admission process's eligibility criteria include a candidate must hold a high school degree, good health, previous outstanding performance, and a non -Chinese resident for undergraduate programs. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of high school degree, and certificate. For master's degree programs, candidates must have a bachelor's degree, good health, previous outstanding performance, and must be non -Chinese residents. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of a bachelor's degree and certificate of bachelor's degree, two recommendation letters, plan of study. For doctoral degree programs, candidates must have a master's degree, good health, previous outstanding performance, and must be non -Chinese citizens. The applicants have to submit an online form with a scanned copy of their passport, official transcripts of masters and certificates of a master's degree, two recommendation letters, and a personal statement(no less than 800 words).
