Introduction

Founded in 1902, Northwest University is one of the key public comprehensive universities in China. The university is located in the famous ancient yet modern city Xi-an the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. With its roots firmly planted in northwestern China, the university aspires to promote Chinese culture and nurture students with a humanistic spirit, social responsibility, innovative capability, and global perspectives. In 1965, Northwest University welcomed its first group of international students to study in Xi'an. Till today nearly 10,000 international students from over 50 countries and regions have studied at Northwest University (NWU). There are two campuses of Northwest University, known as North and South.

Specialty

It is ranking among the top 50 universities out of 2,800 institutions of higher learning in China. The university has been selected as one of the leading universities sponsored by the National "211 projects" .NW is currently under the joint administration of the Ministry of Education and Shaanxi province. Northwest University is one of the top universities in Xi'an City in Shaanxi territory, offering different programs to worldwide understudies to learn Chinese and Chemistry Ph.D. programs in English. There are around 600 worldwide understudies at Northwest University. Northwest University right now exhibits 11 encouraging public structures, including 312 study halls on North Campus, South Campus, and Taoyuan Campus separately. Scholarship Details

For scholarships, the students who wish to study at Northwestern University can apply to the Chinese government scholarship program. The Masters and Ph.D. program applicants can apply for this scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship with a 3000 RMB monthly allowance for Masters Applicants during a 3500 RMB monthly allowance for Ph.D. applicants. All students can apply for this scholarship program, having an English proficiency certificate. The university commenced 120-160 understudies for the scholarship each year.

Admission Details

For admission in graduate programs, applicants must submit the complete application with a college transcript (Minimum GPA of 3.0 for regular admission).TOEFL iBT will be required for international students with a minimum score of 90. For admission in undergraduate programs, applicants have to submit the complete application with a High school transcript (Minimum GPA of 2.3 for regular admission).TOEFL iBT will be required for international students with a minimum score of 90. SAT or ACT score is recommended. Official verification of English language proficiency only for those candidates whose first/essential language isn't English. Candidates have to submit an online form with all official test scores, records, and a non-refundable application charge to complete the application for review. Application submission deadlines are August 15 for Fall Term and December 15 for Spring Term.
