Introduction

The Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) is one of the public universities located in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China. It was founded in 1952 and is under the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The university contains three campuses, namely, the Ming Palace Campus and the Jiangjun Road Campus, located in the Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone. These campuses of the university have 173 hectares in total, including a building area of 650,000 square meters.

Specialty

NUAA has a wide range of degree programs, such as 46 undergraduate programs, 127 master programs, and 52 doctoral programs. Among them, two first grade and 9-second grade disciplines are awarded national key fields. The university contains 13,98 academic staff whereas 14,978 undergraduates students and   5,641 graduate students. It is also in one of the top 250 universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings for Mechanical, Aeronautical, and Manufacturing Engineering. According to QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the university is one of the universities in the top 300 institutions of Asia. According to SCImago Institutions Rankings is in the top 500 institutions worldwide. The NUAA comprises two research institutes and three state key laboratories.
