Introduction

The China University of Petroleum is a national key university in Beijing, China. It was established in 1953 and is known as the best university in China. The university has more than  16,000 students; among 8,074 are full-time undergraduates, 5,945 are master students, 1,543 Ph.D. are students, and 702 international students. Also, it consists of  1,499 staff members, 2 state key laboratories, 9 national research innovation sub-platforms, 23 research innovation platforms at provincial and ministerial level, and 18 key lab branches of China National PetroleumCorporation (CNPC).

It offers a Beijing Government Scholarship, Chinese Government grant, and Confucius Institute allowance to international students.
