Introduction

China Academy of Arts is a university established in 1928 located in Hangzhou, China. It has three campuses in Hangzhou and Shanghai, covering 1000 hectares and a total floor area of 300,000 square meters. The academy contains 4 first standard doctoral programs: art theory, fine arts, design, drama, and film. It includes more than 1200 graduate students. Its fine arts major has been honored as the nation's key discipline, whereas fine arts, the art of design, and art theory have been selected as three key provincial research bases of humanities.
