Studying in China is very cheap and affordable for Pakistani students. The Chinese government and universities offer partially and fully funded various scholarships. 1. Csc Scholarships

The People's Republic of China introduced these scholarships to enhance the attractiveness of study in China. These scholarships are granted in various degree programs for bachelor's, master's, and Doctoral courses. The age limit for a bachelor's is 25 years, for a master's is 35 years, and for postgraduate candidates is 40 years to be eligible for these scholarships. The benefits offered by these scholarships are the following:

  • Undergraduates receive a monthly stipend of CNY 2,500 RMB in addition to tuition and living expenses.
  • A monthly stipend of CNY 3000 RMB for master's students, in addition to tuition and accommodation fees.
  • CNY 3500 RMB Monthly Stipend for Doctoral together with tuition and accommodation fee.

2. Silk Road Scholarship

Scholarships for master's and doctoral courses are available. This scholarships cover tuition, living expenses, and a monthly stipend of 3,000 CNY for master's students and around 3,500 CNY for doctoral students. To qualify for this scholarship, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 in language proficiency.

3. Zhejiang University Scholarship

This scholarship grant is for Chinese master's and doctoral programs. The minimum score needed to pass the Chinese proficiency test is 210. Pakistani students receive a stipend of 1,700 CNY for master's degrees and approximately 2,000 CNY for doctoral degrees. The stipend amount varies according to the chosen program.

4. Hubei Provincial Scholarship

The Chinese government established scholarships to support international students studying at Hubei University of Technology. The scholarship is available to graduate and undergraduate students from Pakistan. The annual stipend for a bachelor's program starts at 10,000 CNY; for a master's program, it is 15,000 CNY. Additionally, for PhD doctorates it is roughly 20,000 CNY.

5. Beijing Government Scholarship

Candidates must meet age requirements, be in excellent health, and not be citizens of China to be qualified for this scholarship. It is one of the top China scholarships available to overseas students, offering assistance in three different categories with the maximum award being $5600 per winner.
