Sorbonne University is a research-based public university located in Paris, France. It was established in 1257 as Sorbonne College. In 1793, the Sorbonne College, like many other colleges of the University of Paris, was closed. 1896, it was reopened as the New University of Paris, with different facilities. In 1968, the University of Paris was divided into five faculties. Sorbonne University was one of these, being part of the humanities faculty at the University of Paris.

In 2018, Sorbonne University was reunited by merging the University of Paris Phase IV (Paris-Sorbonne University) and Phase VI (University Pierre et Marie Curie) and renaming it Sorbonne University. This university has four faculties: arts and humanities, Science and Engineering, Medicine and health sciences, and Law. Sorbonne University also has a regional campus in Abu Dhabi.

How to Apply to the Sorbonne University?
