Applications Procedure:

  • The Fund grants scholarships to first—and second-cycle students and uniform master's studies at every age, both full-time and part-time. They are not due to postgraduate studies.
  • These scholarships are not awarded to those who have a professional master's degree and are in first-cycle studies or those with a bachelor's degree, even if they obtain these titles or their equivalent abroad.
  • A student studying for more than 12 semesters cannot receive benefits from the Scholarship Fund, even if they did not receive benefits before, provided that within this period, benefits are due for studies:

                 1. first cycle - no more than nine semesters

                2. second cycle - no more than seven semesters

At any given time, each type of scholarship can be awarded for only one field of study. In the event a decision is made to award more than one field of study for a given type of scholarship, the student must state for which field of study he or she will receive the benefit.

Eligibility criteria to study MBBS in Poland

Poland is one of the most underrated European countries for studying medicine. Its cities are very safe, the people are friendly toward foreigners, and the living and study costs are low.

The following are the requirements that Pakistani students need to fulfill to study MBBS in Poland:

  • To study MBBS in Poland, the student should complete his/her high schooling with 50% marks in Biology, Physics, and chemistry.
  • Then, the student must apply for admission to the 1st year of a 6-year MBBS Degree Program in any Public or Private Polish University.
  • Only those students who have completed an MD/MBBS course are eligible for the medical post-graduation program or clinical residency.
  • Entrance tests are conducted in most Polish universities, along with IELTS, if one is applying for an English-taught MBBS course. Few may accept international students without it.

The total cost of living in Poland is approximately 500 EUR per month. Accommodation costs 150 EUR per month for a hostel (if a student wants to rent an apartment, it would cost 400-500 EUR per month). Meals cost 150-200 EUR per month, transportation costs 90 EUR per month, and health insurance costs 30 EUR per month.

Work permit and future opportunities
