1. Academic Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship covers partial and full tuition fees. The full scholarship duration is about three educational years. Benefits

There are the following benefits that are given to doctoral-level students:

• Tuition fee coverage
• Annual allowance of 14500 EUR that is paid in installments of 1200 EUR per month
• The prior payment of the Cyprus University of Technology, which comes from master tuition expenditures of 14% and any other sources of this university income, excluding governmental grants, is utilized to pay the scholarships.

Discontinuing of scholarship

For Masters: The scholarship will be terminated if the recipient of a social support scholarship for a postgraduate fails to secure an average score of 6.5 out of 10 at the end of every semester. Students are not permitted to apply for this fellowship if their average score for the first semester is below 6.5 out of 10. If they have formerly been granted a scholarship, they should pay all of their tuition expenses.

For PhD: A social support scholarship for PhD is terminated unless the student completes course criteria, fails the comprehensive exam, or remembers to submit a year improvement record as needed by the regulations of postgraduate education. The student's manager or research counsel suggests the termination, and the relevant faculty authorizes it.
