The Chinese government provides
scholarships to international students for Bachelor's,
Master's, and PhD programs. China Scholarships 2025 are being given to
more than 500,000 international students enrolled in Chinese
universities in 2025. China has become popular as a study
destination for international students because of Scholarships and
English-taught programs, but each year it is becoming more challenging to get
scholarships cause of high competition. Scholarships
in China open every year for March and September intake. This
article will explain six different kinds of fully funded and partial
scholarships in China for international students 2025.
Chinese government's bilateral
scholarship program includes a full or partial scholarship established
by the Chinese Ministry of Education, by educational exchange agreements,
between the Chinese government and governments of other countries' institutions
or international organizations. The bilateral program supports undergraduate, Master's,
and PhD students.
Students can study in Chinese-taught programs or the English-taught program.
The bilateral program provides both full scholarship and partial scholarships.
Chinese
university scholarship is a full scholarship program designated
by Chinese
universities to recruit outstanding international students for
master's and PhD students. This scholarship supports master students
for no more than three academic years and PhD students for no more than four
academic years. The Chinese University scholarship provides a full
scholarship that covers tuition waiver, accommodation, and comprehensive
medical insurance.
Beijing
government scholarship was established by the Beijing municipal
government, aiming to provide full or partial scholarships to international
students applying for study in Beijing. Several scholarships are offered each
year for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees. This
scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend.
Jiangsu
Government Scholarship is a scholarship to develop the education
of international students. This scholarship covers full tuition and
accommodation. For PhD 20,000 RMB yearly scholarship and masters
10,000 RMB yearly.
Anhui government scholarship is established to attract more international students to study and research in Anhui higher education institutions to improve international student education quality and strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between people from the rest of the world. The scholarship includes 20,000 RMB a year for a bachelor's degree,30,000 RMB a year for a master's, and 50,000 RMB a year for doctoral degrees
Shanghai government
scholarship is provided by the Shanghai government for
international students. Shanghai government scholarship is in three
types, Bachelor, Master, and PhD degrees. For Bachelor's
degree, a partial scholarship is provided. For bachelor students, the
scholarship covers tuition waiver and comprehensive medical insurance. For
masters and doctoral students, it covers tuition, accommodation,
monthly stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance.
