Cost of living in Germany
For a single person, the average cost of living may vary depending upon the place where he is living in the country. Small towns may cost less than the urban areas. For a single person 700-1000 EUR is the average cost of living for a single bed and 150 EUR is the average grocery store bill for a single person in the country. Health insurance of 100 EUR and transport of around 80 EUR is also mandatory, overall there is no more need for more than 1000 EUR for a single person.
